LIFESTYLE – Developing the Super-human Lifestyle

I have often heard people describe lifestyle as a way of life of an individual, group, or culture but I will simply say it’s what we do every day. Brushing our teeth, taking our baths, putting on clothes, eating food, etc. are things we do every day. There’s a difference btw just doing something and doing it right.
An unhealthy lifestyle involving smoking, a lack of regular physical activity, and consumption of diets rich in highly saturated fats, sugars, and salt, typified by “fast foods” and inadequate rest has often been practiced or seen as normal. This lifestyle results in higher levels of risk factors, such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, and obesity that act independently and synergistically. The risk factors are frequently undiagnosed or inadequately managed in health services designed to treat acute conditions.

In adopting a healthcare program, a holistic approach must be taken and it’s not just about taking one substance or doing one thing to cure a condition to obtain perfect health. Often, you have to do as much as you can. This is simply because the organs and systems in our bodies are very complex. To stay healthy, we need a total health management program that takes care of the body as a whole and not just partially. From time to time, we need to update ourselves with the right information and try to go for a general body check at least once every three months. Living a healthy lifestyle will give you endless health and vitality.
Any small positive change you can make is better than no change, so don’t give yourself excuses. Remember, Health is the Ultimate Wealth, and being wealthy doesn’t necessarily mean being healthy.
